Achieving Goals

Every program has different key goals in mind. Check out how Trax can benefit YOUR program!

Meat Stock

EFFICIENCY.

Aid in the selection of the genetics that will produce best carcass and continue growth of carcass in the industry.

Aid in record keeping of vital weights and other pertinent information as well as analyzing vital weights.

Tracking helps catch potential health issues through lack of gain.

Weight of offspring (% of body weight) goes towards the dams production efficiency.

Breeding Stock

LONGEVITY, PRODUCTION, EFFICIENCY.

Narrowing down the genetic field to produce animals worth keeping around, longevity.

Aid in the selection of genetics for matings to produce the best possible replacements or marketable breeding stock based off of the Individual scores of potential sire’s and Dam’s.

Ration selection to benefit genetics used.

Tracking helps catch potential health issues through lack of gain

The Individual index’s include pertinent information making it great for record keeping and even marketing material.

Weight of offspring (% of body weight) goes towards the dams production efficiency.

Show Stock

TARGET, COMPETE.

Aid in the selection of genetics to produce top notch quality competitive offspring based off of the Individual scores of potential sire’s and Dam’s.

Keeping track of and analyzing Weight Gains, growth patterns, and carcass traits to produce viable weathers for show.

Analyzes carcass quality on breeding stock to produce the best weather carcass with optimal show season growth.

By analyzing the weights it will aid in continuing to remain lean on show rations.

Tracking helps catch potential health issues through lack of gain.

IPI Score Levels

Why different levels?

To accommodate various farmers who don't have access to an ultrasound tech to measure values such as Loin Eye Area, Back Fat, etc. We have implemented different levels of IPI scoring - Level 1 & Level 2 respectively. This helps us provide a tool that doesn't negatively affect the score for not having data.

Level 1 & Level 2

Level 1: This provides the aggregate score for measurements

BW, WW, 6MW, YW, BL, FS

Level 2: This provides the aggregate score for measurements

BW, WW, 6MW, YW, BL, FS and LEA, LED, BF

The Reports

The Herd Report

The herd report is based off of your entire inputted herd. This gives you the ability to sort and compare your herd. Sorting options include DOB, sex, and more.

The Herd Report reflects the ranking of the Individual score card for comparison.

Individual Score Card

The individual score card gives a numerical value, score, for each animal based off of information such as birthweight, weaning weight, yearling weight. Inputting scan data such as loineye area, loineye depth, and ribeye area will also strengthen your score card but are not absolutely necessary.

The score of sire’s and dam’s also reflects the information provided on the offspring.

The Individual Score Card also lists pertinent information such as registration number, sire, dam, DOB, sex, and more. This score card can be used as a marketing tool as well!
